Team Projects

TruePAL

ONA was used to create a Trusted and exPlainable AI assistant for saving Lives (TruePAL) of first responders in collaboration with JPL. The system monitors vehicle sensors (e.g., Camera, RADAR) to provide situational awareness alerts for the driver.

Smart City

OpenNARS has been applied in the Smart City domain in cooperation with Cisco. The system automatically predicts and detects anamolous behavior.

Experiments

Native NARS Vision - MNIST Digit Experiment

NARS Implementations

OpenNARS for Applications (ONA)

NarsGPT

NARS has been implemented using GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer). GPT can also be used as a NARS plugin for natural language processing, by automatically converting English to Narsese.

NARS Swift

An open-source NARS implementation written in the Swift programming language.

NARS-Unity

A NARS has been implemented for direct use in Unity game engine (C#).

NARS in Prolog

NAL 1-6 has been implemented in Prolog.

NARS-Python

Miscellaneous

3D Cellular World

A simulator game where you can create and edit 3D voxel worlds using various elements. This type of simulator is sometimes referred to as a 3d "falling sand simulator". This one is implemented using cellular automata for the benefits of parallelization.

Animat Creator

Create Hebbian AI animal robots and evolve their brains to walk in a 3D simulation.

SmartRanker

An applet that allows the user to select top candidate rows from any data table according to preference represented in a relative manner. It also allows the user to compromise among conflicting preferences. For example, the user can select a computer that is both fast and cheap. The applet calculates scores for each candidate with a domain-independent and data-sensitive membership function.
