The graduate certificate in Computer Science Instruction provides a pathway for in-service teachers to quickly develop the necessary knowledge and skills to teach computer science at the secondary level. Teachers will gain an understanding of the “big ideas” in computer science and how to apply those concepts as part of a creative, problem-solving process. The curriculum is aligned with the K12 CS framework and prepares teachers for the Praxis Computer Science Subject Test, used in several states for teacher certification.
