Adjunct Faculty Positions

Applications are invited for adjunct faculty positions in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences in the College of Science and Technology at Temple University. The main duties of adjunct appointments are to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in a number of areas, including, but not limited to:

  • Security and forensics
  • Very large database/data warehousing
  • Computer system architecture
  • Software management
  • Applied database management
  • Game programming
  • Clusters and cloud computing
  • Web programming
  • Graphics
  • Applied network technology

Adjunct positions are semester-based and renewable based on programmatic need. The CIS Department has undergraduate degree programs in Computer Science, Information Science and Technology and Data Science, a master’s program in CIS, a master’s program in IS&T, and a PhD program in CIS.
