Tenure Track
The Department of Computer and Information Sciences (CIS) at Temple University invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions to complement and expand its strengths in AI, data science, computer systems, theory, and interdisciplinary research. We welcome candidates across all areas of computer science and at all ranks, with particular interest in those focused on developing computer systems that can learn, adapt, understand context, and work seamlessly with humans. Areas of expertise include AI, machine learning, data science, and cybersecurity. Successful candidates should have an outstanding research record suitable to their rank and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education.

Non-tenure Track
The CIS Dept invites applications for teaching faculty positions, which are non-tenure track 9-month academic appointments with a renewable multi-year contract. We are interested in candidates that will help us further extend the quality, depth, and breadth of our curriculum and contribute their leadership in advancing our educational mission. We welcome candidates in all areas of Computer Science, but particularly those with expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Security, and Data Science.
