In the latest ranking by Stanford University and Elsevier, eight faculty members from the CIS Dept fell into the top 2% of scientists in their field globally.
This top 2% scientist ranking just released on September 16, 2024 is largely based on citations updated to the end of 2023 but includes other metrics which reflect a scientist’s influence rather than just their publication count. The eight CIS faculty members on the list are: Jie Wu, Longin Jan Latecki, Richard Beigel, Zoran Obradovic, Yu Wang, Krishna Kant, Slobodan Vucetic, and Pei Wang, Congratulations to them!
