NARS Workshop

June 16 2023, Stockholm, Sweden

at AGI 2023

With notable progress in recent years, the AGI-oriented NARS (Non-Axiomatic Reasoning System) has been attracting increasing interest from researchers from around the world. Built on top of its open-source implementation (OpenNARS), several NARS-based and NARS-related projects have been undertaken and are currently under development. To encourage communication and collaboration among the researchers, as well as to introduce and demonstrate these projects to the AGI community, NARS dedicated workshop will be held during AGI-23.

NARS workshops is designed for a more advanced audience interested to know NARS technical details, applications and demonstrations. Workshop will be a half-day event (on-site and virtual) held during aftrernoon of June 16 at Digital Futures Building and open to all AGI-23 attendees. It will start with presentations covering implementations of NARS, then the demonstration of NARS application to robotics, followed by guest speakers presenting other related projects. The workshop will conclude with a General Discussion focusing on future research. Additional demonstrations and tutorials may be arranged on a case-by-case manner for those wishing to learn more about NARS project.
