Paper Submission and Presentation Policy

Paper Submission and Presentation Policy

Having a paper on a preprint server (arXiv) does not prevent an author from submitting a paper to CCGrid 2024. Preprints are not peer-reviewed and not considered archival publications, hence do not count as prior work. Reviewers are expected to compare against arXiv papers that have not formally appeared in peer reviewed journals or conference proceedings. If a submitted paper has a publicly available pre-print version, authors are encouraged to use preventive measures to reduce the chances of accidental breach of anonymity (e.g., use a different title in the submission, not upload/revise the arXiv version during the review period after the submission deadline).

IEEE CCGrid 2024 is an in-person conference with the purpose of presenting and discussing accepted research papers. As such each paper will be presented by one of the registered authors at the conference in person. Exception may be granted due to visa issues subject to prior approval by the program committee.

For all papers, IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.
