Grading
- Exams: 60% (two mid-terms 15% and 20%, final 25%, close book but allow one page of note)
- Quizzes: 30% (in recitation class, no makeup, close book, managed by the TA)
- Assignments: 10% (assigned weekly, managed by the TA)
- Additional Punishment or Reward: up to +/- 5% (based on participation)
Policies and Rules
- Attendance to all lectures, recitations, and examinations is required. Late
arrival or early leaving are not allowed except in special situations.
- No eating, talking, sleeping during the lectures.
- No usage of cell phones during the lectures.
- For the last days to drop or withdraw, check the Academic
Calendar.
- Students with special needs: Any student who has a need for accommodation
based on the impact of a disability should contact me privately to discuss
the specific situation as soon as possible.
