CIS 307 : Mailing Instructions for HW1

After you have completed your programs follow these instructions to mail them to me :

1. Create a directory called cXYZ in your home directory. XYZ are the three last digits in your login id.
2. Copy all of your files - C files, .h files, input files, make files (if used) to this directory.
3. Type cd to get to your home directory.
4. Type tar cvf cXYZ.tar cXYZ.
5. Type pine to load the mailing program.
6. Type C (to compose message).
7. In the To: ... field type c307100@snowhite.cis.temple.edu if you are in Sec 1 and c307200@snowhite.cis.temple.edu if you are in Sec 2.
8. In the Attachmnt: ... field type Ctrl + J . When it prompts you for the file to attach type cXYZ.tar. The comment field can be skipped.
9. In the subject field type HW1 cXYZ
10. Type Ctrl + X to send your mail.

If your program reads the input parameters SEED, INITTIME etc. from a file include that file along with the other files in your mail.

If your program reads the parameters from the keyboard create a file containing the values of the parameters that you have successfully used for a good simulation. The format of this file would be:
