CIS71 Laboratory uses Blackboard for Student Communication.

All laboratory assignments are submitted for grading via Blackboard.   The critiqued, graded submissions are similarly returned via Blackboard.

Use of Blackboard requires a Personal University Access Account/Password

This ID belongs to the student for as long as they remain in good standing at Temple.  It is necessary to access on-line facilities and services.   You may request this account via         http://accounts.temple.edu/  or  you can get personal help at the “Help Desk” in the basement of Wachman Hall.

Access to Blackboard is via TUPortal

TUPortal is located at    http://tuportal.temple.edu/   and is the gateway to many University on-line facilities and services.    Login with your personal access/password.  You may then customize the site to meet your needs.  In particular, select Modify Content and be sure the Blackboard Help module is checked off.

Select “Blackboard” from the TUPortal menu.   Select “CIS71 – Intro to Computers and Programming  At this point you have access to Announcements,  Course Documents and other materials related to this course.  You may download files to your own computer account.  You may also use the Digital Drop Box to submit your laboratory assignments for grading.
