Dr. Yuhong Guo received her PhD from the University of Alberta in 2007. She has been a Research Fellow at the Australian National University, an Assistant Professor at Temple University, and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at Temple University. Her primary research area is machine learning, with applications in natural language processing, bioinformatics and computer vision. She has served on the senior program committee of IJCAI and AAAI, and on the program committee of many other top conferences, including ICML, ECML, UAI, ACL and COLING. She has received a number of awards for her research, including best paper prizes at IJCAI and AAAI.
