Faculty Position: Director of CIS Online Graduate Education

The Department of Computer and Information Sciences (CIS) at Temple University invites applications for the Director of CIS Online Graduate Education position.

The Director will lead the design, implementation, and management of innovative online programs that are attractive to a diverse range of prospective graduate students and prepare them for success in computing-related careers. The Director will develop and implement strategic plans and curriculum proposals for online education in the CIS department, will promote CIS online programs, develop course materials for CIS online programs, and train faculty in online CIS curriculum development. An ideal applicant will have a PhD degree in computer science (or a related discipline) and experience in developing and teaching online computer science courses.
 
This position is a non-tenure track 12-month academic appointment. Temple University offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits. Summer efforts include development of online course materials and teaching online and traditional courses.
